I looked through the web site, and I still have not come across one scientific
reason why it is a health problem, except the sole claim that it may be
addictive.

The website has surprisingly little verbiage at all , yet I've become much more
dubious about this book after reading:

" Women are affected far more by caffeine than men. This in great part explains
why they are twice as likely to suffer with insomnia, why 70% of fibromyalgia
patients are women, why more than 70% of autoimmune disorder patients are women
and why heart disease is now killing more women than men. "

Of course, there are no studies where one group of women ingested caffeine and
the other group had exactly the same lifestyle and diet, but drank decaf.

And, Drs. Eades claim that women have less heart disease until they stop losing
iron in their monthly cycle, while Dr. Sears claim that all the above diseases
strike women more often partially because of their different hormonal situation,
and partially because they eat more carbs.

I'd like to get this "Caffeine blues" guy and lock him in a room with the "no
milk" website guy.

" Our health problems are all due to caffeine! "

" No, caffeine may be bad, but all our health problems are due to milk !"

" You're crazy, you're just a tool of Coke and Pepsi ! "

" No, you, you're just a tool of the Dairy Industry ! "

:-) :-)

( Even better, add Dr. Neal Barnard, Physicians Committee for Responsible
Medicine president to the room, so that he can argue that meat is the source of
all our health problems.)

PS No one so far has come up with the specific studies cited by the Caffeine
Blues book that I requested earlier...
