I should have clarified: Change "whole grains"
to "unprocessed grains, legumes, or tubers."
The main point here is that there are some
non-paleo foods that don't have a high GI.

YMMV, but I actually consider those to be distinctly different things. I
occasionally eat yams or sweet potatoes and certain legumes, but ONLY those which
could be eaten and digested raw.
