I think allergy theory is a little bit overadvertised but I'm also I feel my
stomach burn after walnuts.

When I was a child I was eating walnuts just from the tree and I could eat
tones of them without any ill effects. I think that most store bought nuts
has a lot of fungi and probably that's what irritates GI track.
