I hear your frustration. Herxheimer (die-off) reaction can make your
symptoms much worse than before, and for many months, too. I felt like
I had the flu--and that was only part of it--for 10 weeks before the fog
started lifting. With some people it can take as long as 6 months.
Intermittant symptoms of die-off are becoming fewer, but vary in
intensity. Now, for the first time in many years, I'm adding back new
foods--paleo, of course--have clarity of thought, mental focus, fewer GI
symptoms and best of all, hope and the determination to keep trying. No
matter what course of action you decide to try next with your child, I
wish you the best, and know that with a concerned mom like you, there
will always be hope for him.

Wonderful! It would be so nice to hear more stories like this one,
wouldn't it? So, the thyroid treatment and homeopathy is necessary in
conjunction with the diet? Is the compounding pharmacy using a
hypoallergenic base with either thyroxine (T4) or triiodothronine (T3),
or a combination?
