Has anyone read "The Metabolic Typing Diet" by William Wolcott? It's
not a "paleo book" per se (though he's very clear about the problems
that can be caused by eating grains and sugar), but a quite detailed
exploration of the many factors that make each person's metabolic
profile unique. I'm finding it a useful adjunct to paleo eating, in
that one can use paleo principles for selecting the types of foods one
will eat, while using Wolcott's metabolic typing principles for
adjusting the balance of protein, fats and carbohydrates.
