Yes, I agree.

Actually, Lyle has a balanced view of ketosis.  He certainly
isn't what one might call a "ketosis zealot," and admits that the
long-term health implications of a ketogenic diet are unclear.
But he is an incredible resource, because has probably read every
study of ketosis that has ever been published.

Yes, and this is an important point.  If one is to avoid losing
muscle mass in ketosis, one must consume more protein than one
would otherwise eat.

You don't need zero carbs to be in ketosis.  You could do it with
just nuts, if you choose the right ones.  Peanuts (legumes, of
course) are very low in carbs, when you subtract the fiber, and
high in protein.  Macadamias are almost all fat.  If you ate
nothing but peanuts and macadamias for a few days you'd be in
ketosis for sure.
