If the canned tuna, even water packed, lists the ingredient 'vegetable
stock', that is just a legal way they add MSG w/o alerting the public to its
presence. Our food manufacturers either found or made that loophole to

As for tuna,  I always buy the canned in water type.  I think starkist
uses vegetable oil.
