Cabbage was not invented until perhaps a few thousand years ago. What was
was the kind that grows wild along shores, direct translation of the
swedish name would be "shorekale" or "shorecabbage".
If not consumed at once they get rotten. Fermentation needs that no
oxygen is present as the bacteria are unaerobic. So it does not occur
exept You arrange for it.
I do eat sauerkraut, paleo or not!
