Spiritus lacrimabundus,

Anyone who trains Shoto, martial arts, or any other sport, or who doesn:t
train at all, should do strength training. With your type of injuries, a
super-slow protocol to failure will be your best defense against injury, and
probably help you make unforseen gains in your art as well (such as control
of muscle contractions).

As for the fats, from what I can tell, any oils that are cold pressed are
fine. Any heat-pressed are to be avoided. Coconut, olive, and sesame are
my favorites. But maybe that isn't 100% paleo.

Just my two yen worth.

Judith
