i appreciated the comments of jent. .... most of us listen and not speak for
a long time on this forum. anything i could say as far as non dairy pop
tarts can be found much more quickly on Google. if you enjoy exchanging recipes
and telephone numbers that's fine. but im sure there are alot of people like
me who are getting alot out of this current discussion even though it is
making the most vocal of you uncomfortable. well you know what?
"god gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason"
i would like to hear from the lurkers.

i certainly didnt find this forum on the internet to have someone tell me
that milk ads are irrelevant. I would say milk ads is the single most
releveant issue of our time. and anyone on here with dairy problems knows that.

a)im tired of being a weirdo because my kindergartener doesnt gobble
chocolate milk courtesy of the dairy giants at snack time. <i actually had to fight
to get them to serve her water!>

b)im tired of seeing little children of my friends suffering exactly the way
mine did and i cant say anything because the dairy industry has made
intelligence a rare commodity in todays world.

c)im tired of being a rebel for being critical of what doctors are telling
me when on one hand he says children under a certain age should not drink
milk..then on the other hand tells me to feed my kid formula..which is simply
milk broken down to be more easily digested.

d)it breaks my heart to see the explosive rates of asthma rise in exact
concert with rate of free dairy programs in inner city new york kids.

All of these are very relevant topics

i would love to talk with some of you about how you counter the effects of
these ads with your children? with yourself? how do you teach them that they
arent weird..they are the normal ones. its normal to like brocolli and drink
water. isnt it?
