My son is dairy allergic and has the following
symptoms: diarrhea, eczema, mucous buildup in his
sinuses, and almost instant abdominal pain.  While I
have lactose intolerance with the following symptoms:
diarrhea, abdominal pain and gas.  Similar symptoms,
but two different conditions!
