Hi Tammy - When figuring out complex allergy reactions an experienced board
certified allergist (much more knowledgeable then a pediatrician) will be able to
help you. For us having several of the most common food allergies resulted in
understanding that corn and wheat caused rashes in my children. Instead of
elimination diets etc. a good allergist and a referral to a dermatologist will
help you determine what is the cause. Food allergies are only present in up to
30% of eczema (rashes).

Carnation Good Start Formula had whey - a milk protein in it 10 years ago when my
son ended up in a life threatening reaction to it and in the hospital after a few
swallows. I made the mistake of trying it without talking to an allergist first.

Good Luck with your detective work..... Paula
