I am really curious about this, as the parent of a multiply anaphylactically allergic boy of 9 (milk protein included) and as an outgrown milk and egg allergy adult, with other measurable and some non-measurable allergies.

My son's levels are clearly measurable--and always have been, although it was so obvious no one had to tell us! My levels are not measurable to certain things like wheat and corn, but I have some kind of immune response--tho it is not anaphylactic.

Recently, he was challenged on egg at Mt Sinai Food Allergy Clinic. He was hoping. His numbers were low enough to challenge, but he developed a reaction at 19% ingested.
