Ok, a couple of quick thoughts...

1. I used to take Claritin, but it didn't seem to 'help' my allergy. Never put 2 and 2 together. Guess I was reacting to the medication instead of treating the allergy.

2. Birth Control containing dairy... I couldn't find one that didn't contain dairy (when I was looking). Caused a really nasty rash but no internal symptoms.

3. Do the -mycin line (erethromycin, etc.) contain dairy? Those are the ones that seem to give me yeast infections (systemic-in the intestines) which is the way I react to any milk protein. Also, some antibiotics affect me the same way. My Dr usually gives me a Diflucan Rx any time he gives me an antibiotic just to be safe.

Thanks for letting me put in my 2¢.
