If natural medical
practitioners are in possession of "the truth" why don't they have studies
to back them up?

robyn, im not challenging you just pointing out that a person who does so
much research and reads peer reviewed journals and questions her doctor
regularly and reads detailed experiemtns really isnt that nieve..just passionate
about what you are saying. i appreciate a passionate person.

as im sure you realize most studies are conducted by the government or by
industry..some are by universities too..but limited by finances

it doent really matter if the results are accurate or not the important fact
to remember is that a study is a financial investment that only people with
alot of money can make.
most studies are initiated by someone hoping to get a certain result or
certain financial or informational gain. eg. drug companies, dairy industry ,a
professor seeking tenure, a doctor out to prove a theory..otherwise why finance
it?
not because they care about your children. care and truth are not very cost
effective.
as you probably already know, not many natural practicioners can afford to
compete with pfizer and eli lily as far as financing studies are concerned
anymore than you or i can afford to launch a study.
doctors or scientists who run these studies are no doubt scrupulous and
believe what they are doing..but the money to finance these studies dont come
from them...
therefore several things happen
...if you get a slightly favorable result..<the result you want>you throw a
gigantic press conference with lots of food and you get on the news and sell
lots of meridia or hrt or vioxx or whatever you have copyrighted to sell.
if you get a bad result you just squelch it ande try something else or you
change the perameters of the study..

you can research studies as much as you like..but they arent required by law
just yet to release studies that dont prove what they want or that prove the
opposite. those would be more telling. and will be law soon.

i guess i mean this robyn,
if i drank a coke then tried 100 times i know i could do a cartwheel once
or twice. i would title my study. ""coke helps single mothers do cartwheels""
whose going to finance that study... COKE or a my herbalist?

well i mean if coke meant cocaine my herbalist might.........
nahhhh. <for the witless..that was a joke.>
