Hi. Doesn't that subject matter sound wonderful? I have a question and I
hope someone will be able to help me. I've started my two year old on a CF
diet. Recommendation from our Ped. since he "thinks" Gregory is PDD/NOS. We
go in April for an evaluation. We've been trying to do the diet for three
weeks approx. Before starting this diet, Gregory's BM's were normal. Never
runny or very smelly. His bottom would break out occasionally, red rash &
some bleeding. His bottom is very sensitive. We first switched to Soy and
his rash cleared up in a few days. Since starting this diet, his BM's are
terrible. Very runny and stinky. His poor bottom gets very red, irritated
and starts to bleed. It seems the more we take dairy out of his diet the
worse his BM's get. Is this supposed to be normal? Well, not "normal" BM's
but normal for the diet? And why when he was strictly on Soy milk instead of
regular milk his bottom cleared up? I am wondering if he should be on this
diet. It's very frustrating to see your child in such pain when his bottom
hurts, it kills me to see him this way.

Thanks!
AmyLouise
