Molly,

My son drinks rice milk, another alternative that he enjoys (the chocolate
one is good too!).  I substitute rice milk for all my baking.

If you can still eat meat, then you can still eat steak (grilled in oil),
roast pork, roasted or shake and bake chicken, etc.   Chilis, sushi, burgers
(with beef or pork or ground turkey) lebanese food (falfael anyone?), fish
(home made batters or without)....there are many, many foods without cheese
or dairy.  My son never misses it.
