My daughter doesn't typically have problems with dry skin due to her
severe milk allergy.  My niece who has not been diagnosed with an
allergy, but may have an intolerance instead has a tough case this summer.

It is especially on her scalp.  Looks much like cradle cap.  It is kind
of scaly and red due to scratching.

Have any of you found a good OTC solution??  It's the itching that
bothers her the most.  My grandma's suggestion of rinsing her hair with
diluted vinegar works great and soothes the itch but only temporarily.

I doubt my sister-in-law will go to the doctor just for this since it is
fairly minor and sort of controllable.  I'm just trying to help while
they are spending time with me.
