Marion Balla, is a nationally and internationally acclaimed speaker. You are in for a
treat. She will do two demonstrations using Adlerian counseling techniques described in
her presentation.
The Adlerian view of EQUALITY
BOTH ADLER AND RUDOLF DREIKURS CONSIDERED ALL PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTURBANCES AS BEING AT
BASE INTER-PERSONAL, REFLECTING SOME FAILURE OF HUMAN BEINGS TO UNDERSTAND AND ANSWER THE
UNIVERSAL DEMAND FOR EQUALITY BETWEEN NATIONS, RACES, SEXES, EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEES, AND
ADULTS-CHILDREN. EQUALITY DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE ARE ALL THE SAME OR ARE ENTITLED TO THE
SAME; IT DOES MEAN THAT EACH INDIVIDUAL IS BOUND TO GRANT THE SAME DIGNITY AND RESPECT TO
OTHERS WHICH HE SEEKS TO ENSURE FOR HIMSELF.
"IT HAS BEEN IMPUTED TO US THAT WE ASSUME AND STRIVE FOR THE SAMENESS OF MEN. THIS IS A
MYTH. QUITE ON THE CONTRARY, WE ATTEMPT TO EXAMINE THE NUANCES, THE UNIQUENESS OF THE
GOAL, THE UNIQUENESS OF THE OPINION OF A MAN OF HIMSELF AND THE TASKS OF LIFE. THE TASK
OF INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGY IS TO COMPREHEND THE INDIVIDUAL VARIANT."
"Anyone trained in Adlerian Psychology knows what to do the first time they sit down with
a client and through the process." Wes Wingett & Steven Maybell.
