Cognosce le latinistas infra nos le origine del latin "scutula" pro
anglese "rolling pin".  "scutum" = scuto (angl. shield).  "scutula"
suggere un parve scuto, -ula essente un affixo fem. diminuitive.

Io rememora que Andre Schild signava su articulos "Scuto". Ger. Schild =
anglese: shield = Ila: scuto
