Knowing Baba Jobe the person he is ,I AGREE with you in totality.The UDP has
to have a well trained self defense team to protect itself from this
notorious and deadly man.Baba Jobe is a seasoned killer,trained in Libya and
hired to Jammeh.For those  who dont know him ,Baba was in Libya for about 15
years ,he went to the same institute with Kukoi and the other rebel who
attacked the Farafeni Army Barracks.These poeple were sponsored and trained
at the time only to overthrow the Jawara regime.Infact Baba was at one time
arrested and detained by Jammeh while the later was the head of the millitary
police and the former on a visit from Libya.Intellegence reports garthered by
the then NSS showed how Baba and his Libyan based group had planned to
overthrow the Jawara regime and so on his arrival in the Gambia he was
arrested and datained only to be released later for lack of insufficient
evidence to warrant his indictment.This is why Baba was the first
(CIVILLIAN)invited and offered the post of an advisor to the then chairman of
AFPRC and later a founding member and chairman of the infamous Libyan style
July 22 Movement.Jammeh knew at first hand the hatred between Baba and the
PPP Govt.and he knew very well too what Baba can do to re-establish the
already strained relationship between the Gambia -Libya,which he has
succeeded.The Libyan govt.had supplied Jammeh with arms and amunitions,food
stuff ,loans and provided military training to over 80 members of the July 22
mov.These are the people now putting the knowledge gained from Libya into
practice by way of ambushing the opposition,intidimating and eventually an
all out war.SO for the opposition to sit down crying foul or calling on the
international cummunity to intervene won't stop these monsters.Lets always
remember the Gambia as at now has not much to offer the outside world and so
they cared less.Take the April killings for example how many govts.came out
openly to condemn Jammeh ,and how many are right now putting pressure for
justice to prevail?

I am not advocating for war but concur with all those who are calling for the
opposition to build a self defense team to protect and defend when the need
arises---tic for tac.These are the same thugs who forced their way in a
workshop on local govt.reforms in mansakonko and threantens to kill Juwara
.They are back again and if  we dont stop them now ,the period now to the
schedule election would be bloody.
