Kotor Sheikh Tijan

Thanks for reminding og these gentlemen in the pakin
society.

I did know ALL of them. Among of them, the following
were my favorities;

Uncle Salieu Deen was someone we used to be afraid of
because he was strict with way wayward kids like
myself who used to live at Hope Street and its
surroundings. Uncle Salieu Deen used to live at
Macdonald Street, he was a brilliant member of both
the Hunting and Pakin Society. May his soul rest in
peace.

Uncle Mbye Jagne was another character, he was very
versed in singing the Catholic lyrics. Moreover, he
was highly known for making jokes, his classic one was
on the Swedish trying to organise a GAMO. Uncle Mbye
tried to make a mockery of the swedish language and
this caused a lot of laughter among those who used to
listen to his jokes. May his soul respect in peace.

By the way, I did n't known Uncle Basirou Deen has
passed away. Though, i had little contact with him , I
could still remember his days with OLD PA.

Thanks for refreshing my memory

Sanusi
