Yusupha,
Please, if you have a sledge-hammer to fling at Beran, kindly do that in
private! I am sure Lers will fare better without such dirty laundry. I
respect your political stance; being informed that your own mother held a
ministerial post in the Jammeh cabinet. A good number of your postings have
always being very inspirational and no doubt you are one son of Gambia who
holds her dear. But at times we should simply allow people to say their
minds without getting all worked-up. I don't like Jemus, but i respect Beran
on his position. It is called 'nurturing the accomodating spirit'. After
all, why do we hurl all those invectives at Jammeh for wanting to and infact
most of the time muzzling the voice of oppositon. Sometimes i feel like
screaming at the top of my voice when i read some of Jungle Sunrise's
postings...to ask him to 'please keep quite for a second!', but i have
respect for the guy. I have no right to doubt what he(and others) say(write)
they genuinely believe in and are supporting. If this sounds like a sermon
please don't get irritated! Looking forward to your constructive and great
pieces on the real issues, for then you are always at your best!
Lamin Sanyang(Jataafakoreing)
