The recently Tourism Master Plan study concluded that
our country handling and landing fees are higher than
even Gatwick .Our aviation fuel is also considered
high compared to other countries in the sub region.
Government did announce the reduction of these taxes
sometime ago but what i understand is that the
airlines 
are not enjoying these facilities because GIA is
claiming that they are a management company and are
out to make profit. The high taxes is the main
constrain.I are following the developments and will
keep you posted .
