Gassama, thanks for your response and I agree that we as a people need to be
proactive rather than endlessly reacting to events/situations that simple
planing and leadership vision could have prevented.  I hope we learn from
this costly situation.

On the issue of the proposed radio stations, one can look at it from the
angle that it will create jobs to a very, very tight labor market.  However,
that is contingent on whether they can be profitable given the already
excess capacity that exist.  Adding two more stations does not equate to
increases in business ventures or business advertisements, where the bulk of
their revenue will come from.  If that situation persists, then they may be
run at a loss.  My other concern is the efficient use of our limited
resources.  Instead of duplicating services, whether we could get the most
bang for our buck by investing in other areas of our developement.  I hope a
feasibility was done to analyse the pros and cons of the ventures.  Thanks
for your feedback and the fruitful exchange.
