WLIB,WBAI,NPRC,RADIO STATIONS NEXT ON LINE TO EXPOSE THE GAMBIA'S BRUTAL
DICTATOR, ARMS DEALER,AND BANDIT

OPTV wishes to express very sepcial thanks to Elhadj Mustafa Fye Beram
Penda Waagan! Gambians all over the place were proud to hear the sound
ideas coming from those callers. The rich minds that maintained these fora
for the past years did not fail to use the same talents on the air! In all
honesty the callers were so good.If there was no support from our sisters
and brothers Elhadj and I alone were not going to be able to handle the
show.
Arranging the program is one thing but succeeding is even more challenging.
Our brother Modibo deserves kudos on this one! His Wolof was classic and
his journalistic style was so good! Radios like Tam-Tam are international
media outlets that have earned a lot of respect from many because of their
independence.Tam-Tam hits on the Senegalese authorities also when the need
arises. However, we as Gambians were given the chance to say things that no
one can utter on any of the FM stations in Banjul.Absolute power corrupts
absolutely, that is why when GRTS has been monopolised and other radios
stations stifled Gambians in the diasporas resorted to using their own
contacts. It will be a big surprise for mad Yahya and his cronies when he
sees Binneh,Elhadj Mustafa,Jabou Joh,Ams Jallow,Joe Sambou,Karamba others
and others staging a live show with Oreilly and other renowned journalists
one day. OPTV will certainly not talk much the actions will tell Yahya
whether it is a bluff or reality.
BET's section that touches on public affairs will be exploited as well
within weeks. Another avenue will be mailing stuff to two hundred thousand
destinations every 48 hours. The louder the voices the better. No one can buy
a commodity that has not been sold so we will sell our methods in a very
effective way.
Journalists are like businessmen when you go through one and then present
your case very well,be rest assured that a strong wave will come forward.
OPTV has been contacted by one paper that wanted to know the real story
behind the oil discovery in The Gambia and we have done a clean job on that
one.Mad Yahya needs to know that big oil companies like the hunter brothers
in Texas influence the smaller ones! Does mad Yahya know OPTV's line of
contact there? He does not.He thinks that dsiplaying a disk drive that has
preliminary studies can help spread the word and then leave people in
suspended hope?! This man is a mad joker and mad jokers are worse than
clowns,they are fools!
When leaders are not ready to pay attention to what people say then
actions speak.Aristide of Haiti was an example,he unfortunately
miscaculated this time. When he was brought back a decade + ago it was to
force a general out. This time it is the voices of the citizens that are
pushing him and he will certainly bow.
One of the radio stations has been recommended by members of Haiti's
democratic wing in the states for OPTV to contact.
We are currently working with them to complement Modibo's efforts.
Modibo has agreed through Elhadj Mustafa Fye to continue the
series.Gambians in the diaspora have anew been closer to one another and it
was manifested on tuesday. The callers were many and the ideas were similar.
No dictator has ever survived the media, they do invite callous methods but
when democracy and journalism are used effectively, they are exposed and
then they sneak and run away or compelling forces get them out!
Stopping Waa Juwara from demonstrating was not a wise idea either.Mad Yahya
and his cronies have to know that we are in 2004 and they will pay a very
very expensive price because OPTV is ready to scrape the sky with Yahya,he
will see. Here is the list of radio stations that we are working with right
now.
Gambians,Senegalese and our ECOWAS buddies will call and support our
efforts.Because of the overwhelming schedules we will be patient and see
when they can put us on.Please bear with us.Modibo on his part will be
airing our views on the air now onwards.Mr. Fye will certainly handle
that.We have also encouraged these journalists to invite mad Yahya and his
cronies to defend themselves.OPTV is not hiding and we will be spreading
our wings to places, that mad Yahya and his cronies can never think
of.Surprises are good some times.
OPTV is not interested in making unecessary noise so actions will speak
louder than words.
The radios are:
1.WLIB ( cordinator kolanut)
2.WBAI (cordinator Bitter kola)
3.NPRC (cordinator ginger)

NB:Efforts are being made to try and see if FM radio stations in the Gambia
can be synchronised during these programs. Our first targets will be Radio
one FM and West Coast Radio station in The Gambia.Provided that they will
not be dragged to mile two?
Let us all call and speak to George Christenson about these programs and
see whether he can be of any assistance.George is a renowned and an
outspoken journalist so we will give people like him, all the necessary
support.Radio one's FM tel number:(220)-394900.Ehadj Mustafa and Modibo
himself can easily work on synshronising with Walfadjri Radio station in
Dakar at Groupe Wal Fadjri-Sicap Sacre Coeur No.8542,Dakar Senegal.
In PG County Maryland and west chester county NewYork, radio stations have
offered to air our views live and direct, they will simultaneously work on
promoting Gambian events because Gambia is the cradle of the roots movie.
Any event that these stations will air on behalf of those concerned
citizens will be meant to raise funds for the opposition, jailed prisoners
of conscience in mile two, school children and anyone who mad Yahya attempts
to depress. Funds(if any) will be wired directly to the affected parties
through family members who will be invited to attend. The US embassy will be
contacted and it is certain that they will be issued visas to come and air
their own versions in the open.Let us all pray to God that things work out
as the Tam-Tam radio call in show on tuesday. Everything is in the hands of
God. Keep on praying. We can cordinate those efforts with the G-L and G-Post
when it is time.Lastly Radio Canada Montreal has been contacted and we want
to see if they can add an English version, for us(it is very promising!)
they use french most of the time.
Finally I wanted to say that I live in Newyork and my contacts are working
towards getting a big shot with Newyork times. Anyway this was just to
share our plans and approaches with all of you brothers and sisters.Actions
will reveal the rest.
