Ylva,

Thank you for this forward, and it is encouraging to see that Nelson Mandela
in the face of muddled thinking by many , still displays the courage that
inspired him to lead a multi-decade struggle against the evil forces of
apartheid, and unlike many, has the courage to articulate his thoughts about
this unbelievable situation the World is witnessing at the hands of the
United States, a country that has been selling the World on democracy and
civil rights when people of colour have experienced for centuries, and now
the rest of the World are openly experiencing treatment from the U.S that is
far contrary to those ideals.

I am not at all surprised to hear that Dick Chaney opposed Mandela's release
from Jail. Freedom for South Africa probably affected he and some of his
associates' pockets. It goes to show you that if the likes of the
conservative, oil driven element that is in power in the U.S today is allowed
to have their way using the blackmail of instilling fear in the general
populace, it will lead to all of mankinds' doom. I just hope that people
realize this before it is too late if it is not already too late.
