4.  Details of the UKCOSA Entry Clearance Survey

This survey was initiated by UKCOSA because of
widespread concern about difficulties students
from visa national countries were experiencing
in obtaining entry clearance for study in the United
Kingdom.

5.  The Certificate, Diploma and MA for
International Education Professionals

UKCOSA and the University of Nottingham's
School of Education have jointly established a
programme for all staff who work with or provide
services for international students in the UK:

The Certificate for International Education
Professionals, which is linked to UKCOSA's
training courses and is validated by the University

The Diploma and MA for International Education
Professionals,postgraduate courses which are run
by the University itself.


6.  UKCOSA Training courses

The full UKCOSA Training Programme for the
coming training year,
November 1999-May 2000, will be posted shortly.

7.  UKCOSA Publications

UKCOSA produces a range of publications for
individual students, and staff who work with
international students. These pages are under
development  at the moment and a full list of
UKCOSA publications will be available shortly.
