Mr. H. Sallah:

It has been five days since we last heard from you. You promised that you
would answer some questions and concerns put forth relative to APRC's
intimidation of the entire UDP leadership. We are concerned of the recent
terrorist attack by CO-president Baba Jobe on the UDP.

I must admit that I admired your constant attacks on the dictatorship prior
to the 1996 elections. You have, according to my belief retreated for one
unknown reason and have taken a neutral ground on serious crimes against
Gambians, including murder, rape, and torture.

You made a promise to us that you would answer our questions, and to this day
we have not heard from you. I am writing as a concerned Gambian in reminding
you about the promise you've made to us.

Comrade,

ML Jassey-Conteh
