 Graduate Assistantships in Electrical Engineering

 Department of Electrical Engineering at King Saud University
 has graduate assistantships available for September 2001 for the Masters
 and PhD programs in the following research areas:

 *       Systems engineering and control, Artifcial intellegence
 *       Communications and digital signal processing, Image proccessing
 *       Microelectronics, VLSI, Optoelectronics
 *       Power systems
 *       Machines ,power electronics and semiconductor controlled
         drives

 Assistantship includes full tuition fees, housing, and monthly stipend.
 Successful candidates are expected to contribute to departmental teaching
 and laboratory

 Candidates should send a resume, transcripts, English scores (TOFFEL &
 GRE) and 3 references to Dr. Khaled Addoweesh, Department of Electrical
 Engineering, King Saud University, P.O. Box 800, Riyadh 11421, Kingdom of

 All materials should be recieved by December 1st,  2000 for evaluation.

 Graduate program in EE dept. at King Saud University:

 The master program at the EE dept has started in 1981, while the PhD
 program has started in 1991. Many students have graduated from these
 programs. EE dept has more than 42 full-time faculty members in different
 areas, with 12 professors, 14 associate professors, and 16 assistant
 professors.
