Joe, reading through this makes it even easier to connect the dots ala Jammeh’s involvement in these rackets. Where else is “Allah’s world bank?” These tad bits of information from independent sources goes to confirm what we, Gambians knew for a while but find it hard to consolidate into concrete evidence. Take the Iran arms saga; the bizarre plane crash at Yundum airport that was hushed in a flash; the Bonto “drug bust;” the various claims from people that handled jobs as carriers and proxies for him; etc. These are all pieces of a puzzle that when they come together, confirms the story of Yaya’s involvement in obscure illegal activities. 

But like the Bobo’s say: ninety-nine days for thief man, one for master. This Dirimo will have his ninety-ninth day before he can count nine.

As for the auditors, the due diligence folks had to do what they were hired for. They had the new owner’s interest in mind and had to do right by him/her. Not sure if you caught this but the buying of the bank in itself was blessed by the U.S government in their own interest – that is to unearth suspect information – and voila!
