Lamin Waa Juwara, a Gambian citizen who lives in a country that is supposedly
a democracy and who is protected under the laws of the constitution of The
Gambia to demonstrate or advocate for a demonstration against any situation or
development that he feels is against the interest of the people or violates
their rights in any way has been unlawfully arrested, unlawfully jailed,
unlawfully denied bail and subsequently unlawfully sentenced to jail because he
exercised his rights as a citizen and as protected by the constitution.
Yet, the APRC regime and it's collaborators, supporters, spokespersons still
maintain that what we have in The Gambia is a democracy. I wonder what
repression looks like if this is democracy. I sincerely believe that the APRC and
their cheering squad do not know the meaning of democracy.
Another shining example of the tyranny that our country and people are
subjected to for teh entire World to see.
