Simply take a look at the 2017 Projected Appropriation Bill figures. Generally speaking the same trends are true for all Appropriation Bill figures as far back you can reference.

The difference of what we project to spend versus projected revnue Is D5b
Where would that D5b come from? Debt! Internal (treasury notes) and/or external (multilateral/bilateral).

D5 debt is 62.5% (D5/D8) of our PROJECTED TAX REVENUE.

Imagine an individual who contracts 62.5% + interest against every paycheck. Very soon s/he won't be able to even service just the interests. This is the cycle of impoverishment our your governments thrive on. In fact they are not credit worthy but their partners at the other end want some action on their desks. They accepts repeated funny excuses to approve the next installment.

They (Jawara/Yahya/Barrow) knows for a fact this is bad and unsustainable. This doesn't require special know-how. Simply how you do spend/invest the D1 in your pocket knowing what your next wage/income would be.

The BIG QUESTION: Why do they continue to do it? I don't know for a fact but I will speculate that they care more about their stay in power today than leaving behind a better nation for generations yet to be born. LIVING LARGE (MANSAA) THAN BETTER LIVING CONDITIONS OF TAXPAYER

PPP/Jawara - started and thrive on it
A(F)PRC/Yahya - came and run with it
The Coalition/Barrow - just sat on it. Besides Yahya stole our coffers they are yet to tell us the state of the nations accounts.

This is in addition to the fact that D6/D8 = 75% is what government consume off of our tax revenues. The costs of government!

You know and i know if you spend your wages like our government does - before end of month you will not be able to buy food for your family.

THESE PROBLEMS ARE FIXABLE BUT ONLY IF WE PUT ASIDE EVERYTHING ELSE FOR NOW AND LASER FOCUS ONLY ON GAMBIA
