Bajinka,

As I always say, the APRC and their blind supporters give more evidence to
substantiate the accusations against them every time they open their mouths, and
thsi one is a typical example.
Is this the kind of thing that is expected to come from a respectable
government that is protecting the rights of the people and has their interest at
heart as you and the rest of the choir continously try to portray desbite the
glaring facts?
However, the cronies and a head of state that regularly threatens the
citizenry with burying them six feet under for daring to speak out would consider
this threat of yours as normal, given the fact that dissappearances ,harassment
of journalists and the burning down of their premises under cover of night, the
shooting of citizens who go out to demonstrate as provided under the
constitution, the shooting of lawyers who are simply doing the job of defending their
clients, the currying to safety of Tarik Musa who is a partner in crime
because his testimony would implicate the powers that be by the state that is
supposed to utilize the laws of the land to protect the banks that have been
swindled, all without teh justice system lifting a hand to do something about it
because their hands have been broken etc, etc all documented for the entire World
to see are ample proof with more coming daily.
Only Yaya Jammeh and his cronies are clueless enough to think that they are
seen as a legitimate government as opposed ot what they really are, a group of
bandits that has hijacked our country and will kill or maim anyone who dares
say a word while trying to continue this charade of being a legitimate
government. I wonder how theswe guys sleep at night.
Again, we have this evidence as written by you here that if anyone dares to
criticize the government or expose their misdeeds which everyone in the World
recognizes as our right, the APRC and their cronies will come online to
threaten their relatives back home with bodily harm. We will take note of this as it
will serve as valuable evidence in a trial that is bound to come should
anyones; relatives be affected in any way. We understand, you are taking clues from
and representing the powers that be in this method of operation. You have
tried other means to keep people quiet and when that has failed, you resort to
what the Regime does and knows best, threaten people with bodily harm. Gambians
are begining to ask themselves whether it is real or a dream when we find that
we have been forcefully initiated into a mafia-like gang calling itself a
government that will kill or maim you or your loved ones should you say anything
about their disregard of the laws of our land.
However, remember what Martin Lurther King said, "that a threat to justice
anywhere is a threat ot justice everywhere" and I add that only fools will
defend and nurture the rise of hegemoney because once it matures, it will swallow
you up too. Just ask the likes of Baba Jobe, Yankuba Touray and co. who were
partners running around all over the country in support of this monstrous regime
against the people. They have been consumed by the cannibalism of the APRC
regime in an attempt to save itself. The turn of every crony will also arrive,
especially when the desperation intensifies.
