When I was reading the Sunugal and the boat people I remembered the late Ole man Owens. His brother Zack, was so drunk one day that he wanted to dodge a boat at governmentwharf in banjul for the UK. He went on board without notice. He was well hidden in a secret corner but did'nt know that the ship was going inland to Kaur.
Everyone knews that to sail to Las Palmas wes two day and a week to The UK. So after five days he came out of hiding only to realise that the boat was docked in Kaur.
He dare to ask if it was Las Palmas
Stories are all over
