This confirms a clear Gambian victory. You can never beat the former
African Football Power Houses (Ghana, Nigeria, etc.), without them coming up
with an excuse , and a flimsy one at that. Go Young Scorpions Go!!! CAF is
the authority that any fan worth their salt should listen to. If it is a
win by CAF's conclusion, then that is good for me. I know our cousins in
Ghana have this thing about "witch craft", but this is pushing that illusion
way too far. However, I am not surprised. I had a Ghanaian friend in
college, who would tell anyone on campus that in his village, Sunyani
(spelling may be off), witches and wizards are seen hovering in the sky in
plain sight at dusk.
Also on world link, just a few months ago, they featured a program about
witchcraft around the world, and Ghana was profiled. There are some areas
where folks are banished to, for the rest of their natural life because they
were branded a witch or wizard. Even their own sons, daughters, and spouses
are forced to ostracize them. So, this is not that far fetched for them.
