Regret to announce the untimely death of former Senegalese rising star
Ndongo Lo. This sad event took place on Sunday, January 17, 2005.

I recall saying goodbye to him exactly one year ago tomorrow when I brought
his group to the U.S. for the first and only time.

I wish his family the best and all Senegambian musicians.

May his soul rest in peace and his voice will always echo through his
wonderful songs.

He has definitely contributed immensely in  Senegambian music in such a
short period.
