I have finally found and digitised a Holland show that I misplaced
with Paps Touray and Ifangbondi with Badou Jobe, Njau Njing, Senemi,
Ous Beyai etc. I'll send the link later. You are right about the
Stockholm show being like a mini hawareh but that is the reality
regarding the final days of Paps. That show was meant to launch his
comeback cassette but the attendance was very poor as is the norm with
Gambians when Gambian bands perform. With the large number of Gambians
in Stockholm, one would have thought that more people would come out
and patronise Paps but such was not the case. Njok, your contributions
in promoting our culture are immense. The London Cultural Week is on
its way to becoming the biggest not only in Europe but the world. Keep

Can you access and share old Ifang Bondi/Sotokoto videos were Pap
Touray is on stage with an original Band? It would be nice to
reminisce the real deal :-). Notwithstanding, you ve done well to
shares those videos, although I think the Stockholm show is Not the
desired representation of Pap Touray, as it is more like a mini
Hawareh. The one in Oslo is much better, for you can see that the band
rehearsed the songs/repertoire.
