Dear Brother Momodou,
Thanks for reminding us of the Gambia-L Rules. The
insults and foul languages on the list are becoming increasingly
unbearable. The recent and previous insults directed to some list members are
uncalled for.We can agree to disagree but should not be loading insults to
one another. This is a very unacademic act and UNGAMBIAN for that matter. What
is healthy is to try to accommodate other people's view and see what lesson
we can learn from them. There is a hadith which teaches that the strong man
is not the good wrestler but the one who is able to control his temper when
he is angry. Thus there is nothing to gain by insulting others. The one who
insults shows that he/she cannot trade his/her ideas well.
I welcome your warning of the you pay and you get
rule. That is if a list member continues to post foul languages he/she will
be deleted from the L.
May ALLAH gives the spirit to accommodate other
people's views.May HE also guides us in the right path.AMEN!

ARONA
