FINAL SETTLEMENT ORDERS HAVE BEEN ISSUED IN THE LULAC/CSS (1986 AMNESTY)
CASES. PLEASE CONTACT ME OR ANOTHER ATTORNEY FOR FURTHER ADVISE AS TO
WHAT BENEFITS YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO UNDER THESE AGREEMENTS.

USCIS Settlement Notices and Agreements

1. CSS -On January 23, 2004, the United States District Court for the
Eastern District of California, Western Division, approved a final
settlement agreement in the CSS legalization case. The settlement
agreement provides a final one-year application period for eligible
individuals to file simultaneous applications for class membership and
application for legalization. Any individual wishing to file an
application pursuant to the settlement agreement must follow filing
instructions which are expected to be issued at the end of March, 2004.

2. LULAC (Newman) - On February 18, 2004, the United States District
Court for the Central District of California approved a final settlement
agreement in the LULAC (Newman) legalization case. The settlement
agreement provides a final one-year application period for eligible
individuals to file simultaneous applications for class membership and
application for legalization. Any individual wishing to file an
application pursuant to the settlement agreement must follow filing
instructions which are expected to be issued at the end of March, 2004.

What this means is that those who qualify as members of the two classes
are entitled to work permits and eventually Green Cards. If you were
illegally present in the USA between 1982 and 1986, you may call me or
consult another lawyer as to whether or not you are entitled to a work
permit and eventually a Green Card under these settlement agreements. I
advise you to do this immediately. Proving membership in either class
is a long process; the sooner you start the better. (Furthermore, if
you need the full text of the settlement agreements, I will be glad to
provide them directly to your email in PDF format).

Sincerely,
Morro K. Ceesay
