Come this Saturday, Jaw will finally run out of excuses regarding joining us
online. We got her a good deal on a very decent machine. We'll see.

Regarding home, I always find myself in a quandry: I long to hear news, yet
as soon as I hear the reality on the ground, I fall into a depression.
People like Baba Jobe, Modou Soma, Muniru Darbo, Njaka Mendy, Baba Saho,
Salmina Drammeh, and Modou Pika are all people I know pretty well. To think
that these people are our nation's security big shots make me shudder. I
believe most Gambians simply fail to realize the gravity of the situation.
We all better start praying in earnest 'cause the country really needs it.

See you in DC at the Baby Shower (only the US Embassy in Gambia has a
problem granting the entourage visas from the latest I've heard. We'll see.)
