An act to amend the constitution of The Republic of The Gambia,1997 under
section 226(2) and for matters connected therewith.

                                       (25th May,2001)

ENACTED By The president and the National Assembly.

Short Title:                     1-This Act may be cited by the
constitution of The Gambia,1997(Amendment) Act, 2001.


Amendment
of the constitution:         2-(1) The constitution of The Republic of The
Gambia,1997(in this Act referred to as "the constitution") is hereby
amended as set out in the schedule to this Act.

                                         (2) The amendments are made in
accordance with the provisions of section 226(2) of the constitution.

The above is the front page of the document that OPTV will be studying with
our law experts on line and then Gambians can see for themselves why Yahya
is called a fake person. Words like the rule of law are used in Yahya's
speeches both home and abroad as decorations but! they mean nothing to
him.Even the constitution bears traces that can show us how Yahya mystifies
himself.This document that is being presented here for our legal experts
and other professionals to analyse is real and it was recieved from the
archives of the printing department through some of OPTV'S informants
within the state house itself.
Look at the date that was  written besides mad Yahya's name and then tell
me when he said he was born?! He said he was born on the 25th day of may
1965 right? This day was well calculated by Yahya's cronies. Yahya was busy
wrestling in Foni so he cannot even remember his real date of birth.This
day was cooked up! He would have prefered choosing July 22ND but his praise
singers made him believe that he brought luck to Africa! This mad is man!
The 25th day of may falls on the Africa day and it also is being used
within Banjul on very important documents.Do you know why? Yahya makes
people believe that his birth day is one that goes with luck.This is
laughable but OPTV knows exactly what we are saying.Beleive it or not!
Yahya has been advicing people to use his date of birth on documents
because his mad head says that he is a man made with luck.
Yahya's sickness may be beyond what some of us expect but it is true.Ask
those who listened to his stories before and those who listen to them now.
Yahya says that when he visited St Vincent and Granada he made clouds
disappear from a certain valley so that his entourage and tourists could
see the natural beauty(laugh).Ask those who fly with him and those who
drink ataya at his decorated den in Kanilai?
None of OPTV's members is yet to be unlucky to go through the nightmare of
using his plane so far.Yahya should question his cronies and see how easy
it is for groups like ours to be getting information from his bed room
everyday.
Yahya's own close buddies are sick and tired of these mad stories but some
of them are helping him be there because he gives them money every evening.
The constitutional amendments will be scrutinised on line to the end.It is
a whole text that has a lot of portions which have already implicated mad
Yahya.Why should OPTV and every decent Gambian waste their time trying to
respect so-called legal processes when the very essence of that law has
been over taken by mad Yahya's personal interest ?! This is why we say that
he is not intelligent.He could have used the amendments and then shortened
his term therefore leave before OPTV and the true patriots arrive. No Yahya
prefers being driven out of power which will certainly and surely happen if
he did not step down.While revealing his shady deals OPTV shall at the same
time make Gambian see that Yahya does not respect the rule of law.He is
fake and he owns the contitution,which he can change at anytime he chooses.

If Yaya thinks that he can fool Gambians by manipulating the constitution,
he must be fooling himself.In a transparent democratic  institution, a
constitution limits a Presidential term to only two terms as a matter of
fact.OPTV will challenge this constitution, together with all patriotic
Gambians.This is a fake constitution and is in the interest of only a few
not the Gambian people. We will never tolerate another Saddam in West
Africa.Yahya is certainly going to discover very late! that OPTV is not a
box of hot air.
