Sorry, my explanation of the calorie restriction was horrible.  Ideally we
build a substantial amount of lean muscle, predominantly fast twitch.  In
the process  we feed aourselves a nutrient dense diet which often times may
not meet out caloric expenditures. but provodes the phytochemicals and
antioxidant benefits a purely calorie restricted diet might miss.
Re-reading this I do not feel it is any more clear, but I can not get this
concept out very well!! I think some of the benefits derived from
conventional CR is due to less oxidative stress (simply processing less
food)  this paleo mosification MIGHT work because the foods one eats are
higher quality.  Seems like it would be a perfect study possibility.
