between 1 and 3 pounds, depends on appetite (i eat less when it's hot out),
activity level, what all else i have on hand to eat.  two pounds is probably
a fair average.

oh, Edith, you poor thing!  well, you will be amazed at how good you'll feel
if you go paleo.  just try it for a month and see.  i know, it's hard to
understand how eating so much can allow weight loss, but it truly does.  i
lost 35 pounds the first 6 months i ate paleo, and that is *before* i even
began exercising.  (and since i began the weights and all, i've gone down
two blue jean sizes, but have not lost significantly more weight).  i put my
sister-in-law on paleo, she lost 67 pounds in 6 months, and she was 47 years
old at the time.  i can give you her email address, if you'd like to talk to
her.
