I was interested to catch up with your house situation.  I remember you
saying that you'd hoped it would be done much sooner than this and can
appreciate some of the difficulties you could face if they don't hurry
up!  What can I say except to remind you that "God is in control, so
hands off!"

Hey Brad,
        for the most part, I'm at peace with the delays on the house.  I
like being able to walk through it every day and exploring each new
thing.  For example, the electrician came on Saturday and strung more
than 1,500 feet of wire and cable and phone line through the house.
It's amazing to be able to explore that and then find this huge bundle
of wire sticking out of the basement wall  like spaghetti is just so
cool.  It really helps me to appreciate what goes into the construction
of a house.
        The concerns lie in this area.  We had originally thought that
the house would be done in July so Greg had removed the skirting to the
mobile home in June and put most of the axels on already, preparing it
to be moved.  Now, we're coming in to heating season here in Maine with
very little protection from the cold.  You know how our pipes froze last
winter.  Well, now we're much more volnerable so more delay could be
almost dangerous.  Also, the mobile home is depreciating the longer it
sits here unsold and I don't need to explain that any furtherr.  We're
also having to keep insurance on both structures.  Finally, if the home
isn't done soon, the landscaping won't get done this fall which means
that we could havve really hazardous ground around the house with a lot
of ice build up and uneven surfaces.  I'm not going to be too keen on
walking around our house this winter if it continues looking the way
that it does now.
        I know that it's all in the Lord's hands.  He seems to be great
at teaching me patience.   I really need the lessons too.  We did
receive
the shipment of dry wall this morning around 6:30, but they can't do
much with it before the plumber arrives and does his thing for the base
board heat.  Oh well, "all in good time my pretty, all in good time!"
