In her latter years, our Shepherd at home (not a guide dog or retired) had a 
harness type contrapsion with wheels and she'd motor around the park and 
have a wonderful time!  This gave her well over a year of good quality life. 
Indoors was a bit problematic because she took up lots of room in her 
vehicle, but why not!  She loved it and was happy!

Hopefully Hoshi won't get to that stage and they'll continue to treat her 
for some while to come.

Anyway, enjoy your stay and get to meet all those dogs, old and new!
