Vicki called and said John is in kidney failure.  Apparently this isn't all
that uncommon after a heart catheterization.  Sandy said they have several
medical methods of getting the kidneys restarted and functioning normally.
They have discovered that John is definitely diabetic, too.  I still don't
have a handle on exactly what happened with the heart attack and what damage
was done to the heart but with other testing, that will eventually become
clearer and I'll let you know.
