It's been one of those day,
Days that cuase me to ask why?
One of those day,
When my eyes want to cry,
One of those days,
When joy seems to pass me by,

They say it is darkest,
Just before the dawn,
But just how long does the night go on,
I am surrounded,
By questions and fears,
The what-ifs,
And then-whats?
I want to disappear,

What words can I say?
What can I pray?
To stop the endless circle of anxiety,
I whisper His name,
It's all I know to do,
I call on a strength,
Larger than mine,
On a peace that can't be defined,
On faith that can't be seen,

And in a second,
I am surrounded,
By songs of old,
Reminding me of love that never ceases,
Of the peace that comes as I learn to release
All of this,
The God of creation,
Knows my name,
He is acquainted with my situation,
His promise is faithful and true,
Never, never,
Will I leave you,
You'll never be alone,
You belong with me,
You've a place to call home,
You can not see life's finished picture,
But I hae a perfect view,
And it is by my strength that you will make it through
I've seen your tears at midnight,
You are always in my sight,
I've come to bring you peace,
You weren't meant to carry all that on your own,
I give rest, and relief

No darkness can stand,
No fear can grow,
When  love is present,
And I know,
God is in control,
I don't have to know the answers!
