In light of what Virgie said, as it turns out, her vet wanted her to take
Hoshi to Virginia Tec.  The expense this would have been for Virgie, getting
someone to drive her there, motel, food, and so on, would have been
prohibitive but the other reason she is coming here is that the vets Sandy
works for do Virginia Tec's blood and lab work anyway.  So, we get to see
Virgie and Hoshi again.  I hope Hoshi remembers my cowboy hat because she
barked at me when I walked into the living room one night just before we
left to go out to eat when they were here the first time.
