Rhonda2,

No, I never got a job as a Med transcriptionist. The closest I came was
when I took a test at St. Luke's in Boise. I think I failed miserably on
the dictation part. I decided to give it up, as it deals with human life
and things have to be done just right. That would be stressful for me,
especially with my emotions being fragile.

Some years after I took the Hadley courses, I borrowed medical textbooks
from RFB&D. Have you heard of them? If not, and if you're interested, I
can send you the link to their website. I also had written many of the
definitions of medical terms and their word parts so I can refer to them,
but I don't have them anymore.
